Timber: Texture, Warmth & Style
Timber changes the way a space feels the instant you touch it. When you reach for a handle and meet the grain of American White Oak, the quiet depth of Black Walnut, the charred black surface of wood shaped by fire. This is where design meets the hand.
Our Monte collection brings organic texture indoors. Available in two hardwood species, either raw or finished with Scandinavian oil, timber softens both the look and the touch of a space. Oak carries a pale, open warmth. Walnut deepens it, richer and more grounded. Neither imitates. Each one ages, settles, and belongs.
For those drawn to something more elemental, Monte Sugi draws on Shou Sugi Ban, a centuries-old Japanese technique. Where most treatments sit on the surface, this one chars the wood itself with fire and smoke. The result is a deep, lasting black with an alluring appeal and a finish that preserves the timber for generations.
Timber rarely works alone. Across projects, it sits against stone, brass, and matte metal, and it is often the material that makes the others feel warm. In homes shaped by architectural restraint, our timber pulls and levers introduce a tactile counterpoint, resolved rather than decorative, part of the palette rather than an accent on it.
Our timber is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, chosen for integrity as much as appearance. Available across entrance pulls, levers, cabinet handles, and blade pulls, it offers a way to carry warmth through a space from the first handshake with the building to the smallest drawer.
