Elwood House
Situated on the corner of Ormond Road and Pine Avenue, Elwood House by Hecker Guthrie, in collaboration with Woods Bagot, offers a contemporary interpretation of multi-residential living grounded in respect of its historic context. The four-storey development reflects the grain and scale of its Elwood neighbourhood, translating familiar residential forms into a more considered and contemporary architectural language.
a multi-residential project shaped by material honesty
Within the apartments, the Custom Blade Pull in black ace finish introduces a refined warmth to the joinery. Its linear form sits quietly within the interior palette, adding a tactile and resolved detail that complements the surrounding grey, stone, and bronze tones.
At the threshold, the Giro entrance pull brings a contrasting sculptural presence. Defined by its circular marble texture and stainless-steel detailing, it offers a more expressive moment within the project while remaining aligned with the broader architectural restraint. Together, these selections support a material language that feels deliberate, enduring, and quietly luxurious.
In Elwood House, each selection supports the project’s commitment to material integrity and visual restraint, contributing to interiors that feel tactile, composed, and enduring. The result is a quiet but confident layer of detail that strengthens the overall character of the development.
